You'll find loads of office chair deals in the Amazon Spring Sale - so I'm going to try to make it easier to find the right one.
I love reviewing office chairs with my team, testing out comfort and ergonomics, seeing how smoothly the wheels spin, the whole seating experience.
I've hand-picked 8 selected models that effectively cover every base and every budget.

This has to be the top pick for me. A fair discount for a proper office chair available in a good range of colors. We rated this 4.5 stars in our Branch Ergonomic Chair review, and really liked the way the seven points of adjustment let us easily find the perfect fit.
In the UK? The Branch Ergonomic Chair isn't discounted for the Spring Deal Days, but for the price, I'd look to something like the FlexiSpot C7-B Air, now £267 on Amazon.
We've tested quite a few Sihoo chairs, and they always offer great comfort for the price. The M102C is a mid-range model - and since it's cheaper than even the discounted Sihoo's budget M18, you're getting a bit more for your money here. Comes in black and white.
In the UK the Sihoo M102C was £160 now £130 at Amazon.
Good discount on this classic mid-back office chair from one of our favorite brands. Best for those up to 5'9". Not many bells and whistles, but all the core features are present and accounted for: 2D armrests, lumbar support, 120-degree tilt, and a 300lb max weight limit.
In the UK my favourite chair around this price has even better lumbar support and armrests - the FlexiSpot ergonomic office chair was £160 now £90 with voucher at Amazon.
We found the ProtoArc EC100 offered a pretty good ergonomics and comfort levels in our review of this budget-friendly chair. Not as much adjustability as we'd like, but for the price, the comfort and support was exceptional.
In the UK the ProtoArc EC100 was £180 now £130 with voucher at Amazon.
I think this is a great price for a smart mesh office chair suitable for big and tall users. The mesh backrest and seat keep things breathable, and elsewhere there are some great features like 4D armrests and adjustable lumbar support.
In the UK? For the price, check out the Sihoo Doro C300. For the big & tall features, the FlexiSpot Big Max caught my eye, currently down to £160 at Amazon.
We absolutely loved using the Sihoo Doro C300 - it's our top choice for anyone who needs all-day comfort. We never experienced any fatigue during our review time. Not as cheap as it was during October's Prime Day, so maybe one to watch?
In the UK the Sihoo Doro C300 was £340 now £270 at Amazon.
The Razer Enki is our top choice office chair for work and play. Designed for gamers, but subtle enough for workspaces, in our 4.5-star review we loved the chair's solid construction, lumbar support, design, and overall comfort.
In the UK the Razer Enki was £400 now £350 at Amazon. For cheaper alternatives, the AndaSeat Kaiser 2 is now £265 and Corsair T1 Race now £238 at Amazon
Ranked best of the best in our guide and awarded 5 stars in our review, the Branch Verve is the ultimate in style and comfort. It's super-breathable thanks to the 3D-knit polyester mesh backrest, while the padded seat cushion and lumbar support provides true all-day comfort.
In the UK? The Branch Verve isn't currently discounted for the Spring Deal Days. For a high-end executive chair, we had a lot of good things to say after testing the Steelcase Series 2 was £699 now £559 at Amazon.

Search Amazon for Spring sale office chair deals and you'll be swamped with options, models, 3D armrests, 4D armrests, and all kinds of different lumbar supports. So, what I'll do here is lay out what I look for when we're reviewing office chairs, and what else to watch for during the sales. You can read more about this in our full guide.
I'm an insatiable deal-hunter and bargain-finder. And when I do find something I like, I'll spend hours researching to be certain. And then spend even more time on more reviews once I've bought whatever it is. The upshot is, I can help point you towards deals that are worth checking out. Every cloud...
Brand
You'll see loads of different companies discounting office chairs on Amazon during the Spring sale, Prime Day, and Black Friday.
The likes of Fezibo, Furmax, Marsail, and the ubiquitous AmazonBasics are your budget ranges.
For mid-range, look to brands like FlexiSpot and Sihoo.
For higher-end, Branch, Herman Miller, and Steelcase are the ones to watch.
I've selected brands on this page based on our own experiences with these chairs or other office furniture - and you'll find reviews where we have them, to see what we really thought.
Mesh or fabric
I'll keep it simple. Mesh is more breathable, fabric tends to be more padded. A happy medium is a chair with a padded cushioned seat and mesh backrest. Remember, the denser the weave, the more supportive the mesh will be.
Size
We always check out the height limit of a chair and test the maximum weight load wherever possible. It's important because a chair that's the wrong size won't be as comfortable, and you'll be forever fiddling with the levers.
Here's a handy 'rule of thumb' guide...
> Under 5’3″, lowest seat should be below 17 inches.
> Under 4’11”, lowest seat height should be below 16 inches.
> Up to 6'5", lowest seat height should be below 19 inches.
> If you're taller than 6’5″, chair seat height should be 21 inches or above.
Adjustability
Office chairs can come with all sorts of levers and controls designed to make the seat more comfortable, more personalized. When we test office furniture, this is where we spend a lot of time exploring what we can adjust. Tilt and recline are the main areas to look at. Armrests can be 2D (they move up and down), 3D (they also move back and forth) and 4D (they now move outwards).
Lumbar support
Most chairs in the Spring sale will offer some level of lumbar support, which helps maintain comfort and correct posture. Fixed lumbar support won't move, adjustable lumbar support typically moves forward and back, up and down. Dynamic lumbar support will moves to the contours of your body, offering constant and consistent support. This will generally increase the price of a chair. During review, this is an area we pay special attention to.
Price
When reviewing any chair, we always look at price and value for money - you'll see it's a regular complaint of ours about overpriced chairs that don't always deliver on the expectations of that cost. And we're always tracking and monitoring office chair deals. During events like Black Friday, Prime, I recommend installing a browser extension like Keepa or using a website like CamelCamelCamel to check if your chosen product is at a historically low price.
Amazon Spring Deal Days or the Big Spring Sale isn't a true Prime Day - and as expected, I'm not seeing as many deals as I do during Prime. But it's now on, from today until the end at midnight in your territory on Monday March 31.
Expect official Prime Days to happen sometime in July and October.
No, Amazon has confirmed you won't need a Prime membership to take advantage of the Spring Deal Days - although it's useful if you want free delivery and access to other discounted products.
Unlike with the spring sale, you only need to be an Amazon Prime member in order to get access to Prime Day deals, which costs $14.99 / £8.99 per month or $139 / £95 for a year.
However, new subscribers can take advantage of the 30-day Amazon Prime free trial to buy the deals. You can only use this if you've never been a member before, so it won't be available if you've used it already or if you've signed up for Amazon Prime in the past.
While on the free trial, you get all the other membership benefits including free shipping, access to Prime Video and much more. Do read our Amazon Prime review for full coverage of what you get as part of a membership. That can help you decide if you want to cancel Amazon Prime once your free trial has ended to avoid being charged the monthly fee.
We expect decent discounts on most big-brand office chairs, including those from Amazon’s ranges. At the more affordable end of the scale, the discounts will likely be small and you may only spot price drops on particular colors or models. And at the premium end, the desirability of products from companies like Herman Miller means they’ll probably stay at full price throughout this particular sale period.
